I suspect that Iggers influenced other emigré historians like Fritz Stern, who wrote a chapter on Ranke (mainly on documentary evidence) in his Varieties of History. Also, check out his foreword to a book on German scholars and ethnic cleansing (when idealism or theology clashes with reality).

I get that OCHA are in a tough spot... but this report is missing that one of the key challenges is the Junta blocking aid agencies including OCHA from going into effected areas. Access is mentioned 11 times in the report but it's defo on the reader to infer the why😒 reliefweb.int/report/myanm...
