This photo is for anyone who knows Cornwall and the ‘Nearly Home Trees’ 🌳. Always love seeing these when we go down and visit family. 🏖️ #Cornwall#NearlyHomeTrees

Photo of a sunny day showing in the distance a copse of trees called the ‘Nearly Home Trees’.

Autumn glory at the edge of an overgrown field. From my daily walk along the country roads in the alpine boreal forest.

Across an over-grown field a copse of trees with evergreen conifers mixed with deciduous hardwoods showing autumn colours of scarlet, orange, yellow, reds and browns.

Ooh, a much nicer image of the comet:

Pretty much what is says on the tin.

In this image you can see the comet much clearer above the central copse of trees. The bright dot to the left, near the horizon is Venus.

A gate with a right of way, opening to a driveway and footpaths in two directions - one through a copse with strange noises after dark, the other to a church graveyard which is quieter. #Worcestershire

An iron gate across a driveway. The driveway heads up a slight hill, with trees on the summit. On either side of the gate are smaller gates for people. The gate is illuminated by spotlights; the sky over the hill is cloudy, some hour of twilight.

Segue from Macropods to the plant they are the namesake for- Spotted a copse of thriving wild Kangaroo Paw on my ride down to work. Named for the flower looking approximately like the leg of a roo (upside down), it's the floral emblem for the state.

Also found time to stop by the local bookshop to buy another collection of spooky stories that I won’t have time to read. It’s almost as if this was created just for me.

The front cover of a book of ghost stories called The Haunted Trail. Classic tales of the rambling weird. It features a yellow and black illustration of a path leading to a copse of bent trees.

The sky is cool and nature is amazing.

a view of the northern lights from Elk Island National Park in Alberta, Canada. There is lots of red and green in the aurora.

From the back door. Yes, I count my blessings every single day... #aurora#northernlights

The Northern lights - faint sweeps of pinks on the left hand side of the photo moving through to greens on the right hand side of the photo behind a copse of Scots Pines, with stars also visible.

Dog walk in the copse, with late afternoon sunlight after a bit of a gloomy start. #Photooftheday#iphoneography#iphonephotoacademy#shotoniphone#iphone15promax
