Making a pear and strawberry cobbler (threw some dried cranberries in there to balance out the splash of white wine)
Today is Bluesky chaos day. On this day you post content or in a style you never usually would. As a food influencer, people always ask me the best way to start the day with a healthy breakfast. I find making a huge jar of cereal topper is a great way to pack in the seeds and fruits we so need!
There is some goat cheese rolls with cranberries mixed into the cheese, and the whole shebang is coated in black ashes and wrapped in a wooden stick "cage" to hold it in its small loaf shape. It's great on crackers with white wine. It is very crumbly though and requires effort to spread it.
I remain baffled that The Cranberries' "Zombie" consistently shows up in Halloween dance party playlists. Like. I *get* that it's the name, but, folks come on

Fancy but sensible meal. Chicken wrapped in bacon filled with cashew basil butter, prunes and dried cranberries. Sides of spinach in herb butter topped with balsamic sugar tomatoes & roast potato and kumara. Beetroot chutney and mayonnaise as condiments.
