yeah, that shit has to change too. In MD you can run over and kill a cyclist and the most they can do to you is a fine. Not even a day of jail time.
As a cyclist, I would ask to remove the overwhelming number of very poor human drivers first.
And I would say I'm the pro-pedestrian, pro-cyclist, and pro-transit lobby - which is why I do want to see drivers behaving differently, especially in pedestrian- and cyclist-dense areas.
