crazy that dnSpy doesn't let you rename variables or members, i feel like that should be one of the most important parts of any decompiler

And usually a java decompiler won't even help you that lot because it's all written in Kotlin with the occasional java class, so you're gonna be reading generated boilerplate code 90% of the time

I hate how obtuse most of the intellij ide APIs are. There's the open source part which is pretty decent, but the moment you try to write something advanced for native langs (CIDR), it's all just binary blobs, zero docs, and you need to fight the IDE with a decompiler to even see what's available.
