I was asking specifically of the possibility of the innate ability for vocal language and culture adoption without written canonical representation? So natural vocal mimicry? Evbio eco? Ethology?

Biological scientists interested in discussing philosophical or theoretical issues with philosophers, historians, social scientists, and like-minded biologists should consider submitting proposals. You'll find a welcoming environment. #evbio#plantsci#botany#microbe

@eesupdate.bsky.social#philbio for the HP Bio feed to some of posts. I suppose mere cool EES science might not always be relevant outside of the evbio feed, but the phil bio community has been very interested in EES since long before the term was invented.

Recently became interested in thinking about Levins and Lewontin's idea of dialectical biology. I'll find relevant past literature, obviously, but wondering whether anyone knows of relevant upcoming workshops or volumes. #philbio#philsci#evbio#ecology#histsci

It cannot be both: the EvBio world has almost nothing (if not simply “nothing”) nice to say about Evolutionary Psychology. We don’t consider it to be science because, well: it isn’t.

I think that the poster confused EvBio with Evolutionary Psychology.
