id love to prioritize that care and for certain things, i do. but for the "minor" stuff or the stuff that needs to be done over and over again, like exercise or shaving, it's soooo difficult to find the time or energy. every day is a fucking blur. it won't be like this forever but, gd.

There's this exercise Lynda Barry talks about in one of her books where you start by just drawing a spiral and thinking or listening before you start drawing. I'm thinking of it now because I just finished reading The West Passage and my immediate urge is to draw a spiral while I think about it.
