Some people are choosing to go to Firefox, because they are continuing to support something called Manifest V2: blog.mozilla.org/addons/2024/... (Paragraph 4). Chrome removing support is making it so that extensions like uBlock Origin do not work as well (blocks ads, tracking, malware, etc.)
