Less heroin, more various preparations of morphine and just opium extractives. I still really, really want someone to do some blinded studies on the efficacy of a standardized mix of the complete set of alkyds in average raw opium vs the various fractions. I suspect the compete work better.
Basically: get a load of money from extractives ➡️ less opportunity cost / store of wealth / macro issues ➡️ sovereign wealth fund 🤑 If you borrow / save money to crowd in private investment that’s a different beast (article calls this a strategic fund which I think is a more useful term)

more specifically - if it's western red cedar, you extra don't want to do that. the stuff is a sensitizing agent; you can get sick after only cumulative exposure sometimes. other cedars have generally less extractives and don't sensitize, but a bit of sawdust getting in your eye will burn like hell
Time to rough cut. Could use a miter saw but this will cause less dust and work just as well on my MFT. Full dust protection though: mask, hat, and glasses shields. I don’t always use shields but cedar has a ton of extractives you fuckin’ don’t want in your eyeholes. Also bonus dog. She supervises.
