Watching “Space Seed” with my 13 year old. He’s seen TWoK, but not this. Spock says “I’m reading a name…. Botany Bay”. My son goes “where have I heard that before?” I say “Botany Bay?” in the Chekov accent. He goes “Botany Bay? Oh no!” And we laugh. #greatestgen

I've had a lot of cause to wrestle with my relationship with Star Trek DS9 the past few years. #GreatestGen made a great point about how some really cool things came out of the writers' room fighting against the constraints of the universe... But now the TV they made is the constraints for NuTrek.
