The Happisburgh Lighthouse, Norfolk. Colours are funky, yet this series all comes from the same roll. Go figure! The joy of expired and light leaked film. Olympus Pen EEs half frame and expired Lucky Super GBR 100 developed @cinestillfilm C41. #believeinfilm#halfframe#35mm#filmphotography
#Happisburgh church. Notable for its 110 ft tower. Sadly we missed the last tower tour of the year. Maybe next time.
It had one shop (we got a box kite). No pub. No chippy. No amenities on the beach. There was a small caravan park. There was no road running alongside the dunes. And no cliffs. I think it wasnāt far from Happisburgh as there was a lighthouse in the distance. I often think of it.
We ran away to the seaside today as it was warm and sunny. Happisburgh is eroding at a crazy rate so it is interesting to go regularly and watch the land vanish but on such a nice day a walk on the beach was just the ticket rather than on the cliff path.
A few weeks ago, I got these lovely copies of Shuckzine and an extra surprise: the newest bumper issue on Witches before it hit Etsy! I'm excited to read about the Happisburgh torso, a ghost tale my late mum loved. Huge thanks to Shuckzine āthis made my day! #shuckzine#witches#norfolkfolklore
Havenāt been on here for a while but maybe Iāll post this find on Happisburgh beach with my boy yesterday. Maybe from the Cromer Forest Bed.
