#Knitting #SFBA * in its climate change era: * Well, all of California, but SoCal doesn't have sweater weather in October anyway. 100F/38C is still stupid hot, though

1) "Delicate mitts" by Erica Loftin are fingerless mittens knitted in a green that's kind of a cross between 70s avocado-colored appliance and the light green moss that acts like highlights on trees and things in forests. The pattern features 1x1 ribbing at the wrists and some cables on the hands.

"Vermilion" by Rachel Brockman is a pullover sweater knitted in what I would call a muted wine red but is clearly the inspiration behind the name of the pattern. It has ribbing at the neck and wrists, and cables across the front. The sleeves couldn't decide how long they ought to be: they stop a few inches above the wrists, neither full-length nor 3/4.

Sorry for a repost of this pic but I gave the afghan to our daughter for her birthday and the other day she facetimed me from work - wrapped in the afghan. She loves it so much she takes it back and forth from her house to the office. What better compliment could there be? 🥹 🧶
