Wow these came out so clean! I'm really excited to get one! Linoprinting is so much fun but doing it on T-shirts is super scary for me

hello! here is the hierophant from my linoprinted tarot. you can preorder your deck from here >>> shop.frankduffy.co.uk/franks-slow-...

a linoprinted tarot card surrounded by linoprinting tools and offcuts. It's printed with a gradient of deep purple to rich pink. at the top is a sun or full moon emitting rays. below that is a cityscape horizon line. Before that is a castellated wall. In the foreground is a monk stood with their hood up. on each shoulder is a crow. there are crossed keys at their solar plexus. kneeling in front of them are two figures. waves of energy come from the monk's spread fingers towards the kneeling figures' faces.

I think I've lurked enough here, so... Hello, I work with content in tech and I'm the person others come to when they need to get the main points out of a topic or dilemma. While most people in tech I know started doing pottery or knitting, I went for linoprinting. #contentstrategy#linoprinting

A linoprint of a black bird on magnolia tree branches, in black ink. The bird is sitting in the middle of bloomed flowers.

It's not that I miss the brain-fog as such. It's just that I'm still not sure why my brain makes the leaps it does now. Frustration with linoprinting? TIME FOR DIP PEN!

On week 3 of a reduction linoprinting course. Been reduction printing already but I’m self taught so don’t know what I don’t know. I’ve learned so many new and useful things and the tutor is great. Really honest, helpful and encouraging. Process shots that lead up to the second layer.

Photo of a stone wall with tall deep red flowers (don’t know what kind). Brambles in front of the wall and some dramatic grey clouds above.
Photocopy of the photo on the right and the print design created using it on the left. It’s basically an abstraction of the image.
Photo of the design.
Photo of the lino block on its board with the second ink layer on the right, and the print on the left. One of the group described the colours (mid blue-grey over straw yellow) as mid-century modern so that’s what I’m going to use for inspiration for the rest of the ink layers.
