I had this lady tell me off on Threads when I did a Mutual Aid post requesting donations for compression exercise pants. I was recently diagnosed with Lymphadema. She could have just scrolled. I’m disabled and needed them as part of my treatment plan.

I feel ya! But I have to do it because my Lymphadema would get worse and so would the pain. I can no longer drink beer, eat pizza, cornbread, pasta or cheese! Also, the healthy eating will not produce weight loss because the disease makes/keeps patients FAT!

This fatphobic Doctor who is legitimately a REAL doctor was trolling Justina Armistead, who is a Transgender Woman Of Size! I asked him to stop trolling and he responded with fatphobia. Well...l left a review on Healthgrades.

Dr. Steven Roffers is a fatphobe and a scientist. He is also a medical examiner (IME), Doctor Of Chiropractic Medicine and a Physical Therapist. He thinks people with a BMI of 25 or more to be “disgusting” and “damaging their bodies with gluttony”.
Dr. Steven Roffers mocking a transgender woman of size. Then after I kindly asked him to stop bullying her and explaining to him that fatness can be caused by different reasons other than over consumption of calories and told him to be compassionate and that I am fat and suffering an incurable disease, this Doctor responds with the words: “Feel better now?” In which he displays the middle finger emoji to me.
Dr. Steven Roffers of Palm Springs, California believes people with a BMI of 25 or more are "disgusting" and "damaging their bodies with gluttony". He trolls a plus size transgender food critic on Instagram. Dr. Steven Roffers even mocked my weight and told me I am a "burden" on the healthcare system. Then he sent me the middle finger emoji and told me to "Feel Better". I currently weigh 151 lbs and have a BMI of 28.5. 8 lbs of my weight is from lymphatic fluid because I suffer from Lymphadema. I was medically neglected years ago while on an antidepressant and suffered from medication induced polyphagia for 12 years. I survived cancer. I was 34lbs heavier 13 months ago. I nor other people of size deserve to be treated like subhumans. He shouldn't work in healthcare because of his biases against people that look a certain way.

Living with Lymphadema is hard . It causes poor life quality. It causes weight gain and physical pain. Some days I cry a lot because I’ll never be healthy again. I will always be reliant on having to get healthcare and be a burden on society.

I’m so sorry for you. I have this happen to me too. I was recently diagnosed with a medical condition that will keep me fat indefinitely. it’s called Lymphadema. I’ll never be like those normal former fat people who lose weight in 4-6 months. I’m taking an Instagram break soon.

I regret having to do this but, I’m requesting donations to buy size inclusive exercise pants for lymphadema. I’d like 2 pairs to wear throughout the week. I am trying to raise $196.00 USD. I am not a scammer, just a low income disabled person. — cash.app/$bunnylove403

Thanks! I have to start PT for the lymphadema and I read yoga is good for that, so I will find out soon ish what they want me to do. I know I have neck issues because my hand goes numb. Stretching seems to help that as well.

Thank you! I have trauma stiffness (and lymphadema) so stretching is supposed to be goooood for me!
