"Any other manufacturer would drive this car as it is and say 'that simply isn't good enough'. The fact that it pogos on it's suspension as the suspension still isn't stiff enough to deal with the mass, the tyre choice is crap and the brakes are unacceptable." - Throttle House

This is also an anti-business stance - TX has been driving hard to get biotech companies to open up shop there, and a likely generic, poorly-written ban on "mRNA technology" will be a huge blow to those efforts. I know of one contract drug manufacturer who just opened a DNA/RNA facility in TX. Ouch.

It still seems like yesterday to me that every phone manufacturer had its own proprietary charging cable. Although that could be because I was throwing out a box of old phone chargers.

A plastics manufacturer in Georgia was caught stealing wages from over 700 workers. This is the FOURTH time that Primex Plastics has been busted for this, but nobody will go to jail for this theft and the Fox News reactionaries won't have a panel talking about this crime wave.

Currys are terrible at understanding Consumer Rights Act stuff (or more likely they deliberately train their staff to ignore it). Even for stuff bought recently they seem to think that anything that breaks should be between you and the manufacturer. 🤦🏼‍♂️
