It's a shame when something is force-fed to you for so long that you start to loathe it 😐 doesn't seem like a good teaching metric to me.
by any reasonable metric I should be going to bed now, but I'm far too wired...
Every time I used their site in the past, it never showed anything anyone I was friends with posted & it was just a bunch of ads & spam that you had to block in order for it to stop appearing bc the "Not Interested" feature seems to act as an engagement metric that increases frequency 🤦
this is my favorite health metric. all i have to do is be typical. it’s good to know i am not over typical or under typical, i am just vibin with an ambiguous baseline
Sure, the metric is very high, and the metric is not exactly _bad_ per se, but still it feels like it is a wrong metric to optimize. We're optimizing a wrong target. And people are mad at that, even if they can't quite verbalize it.

it's so rare that i ever get to call something "the classic blunder" but using number of lines of code as a metric surely qualifies
