I have a soft spot for The Whitman, an expensive condo complex built in 2006 that I've walked by on every recent D.C. visit. It seems to have been intended as straightforwardly neotraditional, but it comes across as similar to monumental trope-reinterprative PoMo from 20 years earlier.
