Eh, she called them "homemade." Well, I kinda thought her covers looked like AI...but didn't say so. And she's tradpub, to boot. But whateves, it's a bit complex to get a reasonably priced cover artist who gets neoWestern SF.

oh dear ghod my new release trilogy is science fantasy neoWestern. Had a romantasy author sneering at my covers, but...even my fantasy has neoWestern elements.

That is the incredible dilemma. Some people would say it's the covers, but I've yet to find an affordable cover artist who wouldn't resort to AI to make a workable cover for a science fantasy NeoWestern. Or weird Photoshop stuff without blending and sizing. Or has half a clue about horses.

Hi, I'm Joyce and I write speculative fiction from the wide open spaces. My latest release, The Cost of Power trilogy (Return, Crucible, Redemption) is science fantasy NeoWestern with Carolingian elements.

Genres transform. One reason I'm plugging my books as NeoWestern is that the old form Western is passe...but there's plenty of contemporary Western variants out there. Take a look at Craig Johnson's Longmire series. It ain't Zane Gray or Louis L'Amour, either. Plus horror seems to transform.

Hi everyone. I'm in the promotion stage for my science fantasy NeoWestern trilogy that releases starting August 20th! And melting in the heat while trying to get that final scene rewritten because it wraps up that particular world (the Martiniere Family Multiverse Saga). #WeeknightWriters
