I ate them all, but I quote “Table 1 lists the current Fe RDAs for nonvegetarians. The RDAs for vegetarians are 1.8 times > than for ppl who eat meat. This is because heme iron from meat is more bioavailable than nonheme iron from plant foods” I stopped being low iron when I ate meat again.

Day 1 of break: I explain to daughter it doesn't make sense to be a vegetarian if she's going to waste water on 15-minute showers and she fires back that nonvegetarians also waste water in long showers but also kill animals, so there. Can't really argue with that 🤷‍♀️
