Mais oui, enfin, ces opprimés qui rejoignent les groupes supposés lutter contre les oppressions, c'est plus possible, là… 🤪💀 Désolé pour toi…

We could have a great conversation about post/trans/alter human potential, but instead we gotta keep litigating whether or not there are unique oppressions faced by different groups under the queer umbrella.

I can understand being 20 years old and severely online 20 years ago and thinking the internet equalized oppressions or something bc frankly you were young but i can't understand being 40 now, still severely online and not being able to look backwards and see what was there more clearly

'go vegan if you really care' veganfeministnetwork.com/269life/

The foundation of 269 is based on a Declaration entitled the Non-Humans First Declaration which unequivocally defines human oppressions, such as racism, sexism, classism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, etc., as irrelevant and unimportant to fighting for animal rights. The Declaration consists of three main Articles, the first of which is that “no one should be excluded from participation in animal rights activities based on their views on human issues.” Making clear the disregard for human oppression, the Declaration specifically makes room for activists who have no interest in intersectionality.

And the need to be surrounded by perfect mirrors - to find people who are only unconsciously complicit in oppressions in the exact same areas that I am. Totally impossible in systems that require complicity to survive.

I watched the movie, "A song for Noah" 😓 Pictures from 2012, from 2017, rubbles, deaths, oppressions of the Palestinians, no human rights, no humanity. They don't even have their own nationality, no id card. The only people without a passport, in their own country! 🤢

you certainly don't need to know about all oppressions. nobody actually can! and you certainly don't need to know about different ones equally. but add in some knowledge, care, and effort for the oppressions that don't hurt YOU. that's part of being human.

there are no people who are on the oppressed side of all power groupings. depending on your life including your vulnerabilities, but to SOME degree applicable to truly everyone, i want to see people caring about oppressions that target people who are not themself.
