I honestly love the album and am always finding new corners of oddity in it every time I listen. Odd is the wrong term though, there’s a genuine freedom with Phish in full neo-dada territory. I’d like more is what I’m getting at!
Phish is at their best when they can get the egg in the hole. It’s not easy to do regardless of how easy they make it look. Egg in the hole live has been recent favorite of mine. They always take it to some wildly different locations each time they play it.
continue to love this series and read you on the 99 years with enthusiasm because it was the first year i saw phish. twice -- 7/15 Holmdel and 10/8 Nassau. holmdel show much better. i have very fond memories of that Melt.
