Okay Journaling is only something I do in bed but I do need some accessible planner.

What goddamned urban planner came up with the idea of ​​planting CHESTNUT trees over the alleys???? This deadly spiked weapon. WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING?

turns out even giving lists of vendors was hard for my planner bc again she hadn’t actually ever done anything in the area. she gave all overpriced vendors from another much more expensive city that would also have tacked on insane travel fees

IIRC, our planner was provided by the venue, so doing a bad job would have been something that might produce bad reviews for the venue itself. On the other hand, a significant portion of her job was just giving us lists of vendors who the venue was willing to work with.

Learning that walking at the pace I can comfortably manage isn't a special accommodation that I should be undyingly grateful for has been.... hard. Likewise building up the skills to be an active planner of shared travel instead of a passive fretter about failing at it. Great advice all round.
