Mushrooms are so cool. 🍄

A photo of a turkey tail mushroom, a brown mushroom covered in colorful bands that grows in flat shelves.
A photo of a dryad saddle mushroom, an orangey-brown mushroom that grows in flat, slightly curved shelves. The surface has flecks of darker color that look almost like scales or feathers.
A photo of some small violet-toothed polypore mushrooms on a fallen branch. They are pale cream shelves with purple edges.
A photo of several chanterelle mushrooms on a paper towel, next to a mushroom knife. They’re small orange mushrooms with frilly tops.

Birch polypore are abundant this year. Probably don't wanna eat them, can make a bitter tea with them if that's your thing. I think I'll stick with coffee, though this chunky shroom might have antibacterial and antifungal properties. 🍄📷

Because they are confusing them with chanterelles. Ok. Maybe my comment (taken from books) assumes some basic mushroom identification abilities like knowing what a polypore is.
