HEonGPU: a GPU-based Fully Homomorphic Encryption Library 1.0 (Ali Şah Özcan, Erkay Savaş) ia.cr/2024/1543

Abstract. HEonGPU is a high-performance library designed to optimize Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) operations on Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). By leveraging the parallel processing capac- ity of GPUs, HEonGPU significantly reduces the computational overhead typically associated with FHE by executing complex operation concurrently. This allows for faster execution of homomorphic computations on encrypted data, enabling real-time applications in privacy-preserving machine learn- ing and secure data processing. A key advantage of HEonGPU lies in its multi-stream architecture, which not only allows parallel processing of tasks to improve throughput but also eliminates the over- head of data transfers between the host device (i.e., CPU) and GPU. By efficiently managing data within the GPU using multi-streams, HEonGPU minimizes the need for repeated memory transfers, further enhancing performance. HEonGPU’s GPU-optimized design makes it ideal for large-scale encrypted computations, providing users with reduced latency and higher performance across various FHE schemes.

even more complicated is this qualia is not sensory. Gender identity and orientation are qualia of needs and desires. Neurotypes is a 'formal qualia' of an entirely different way of condition, sensory processing and fundamental neurological processes - a way of thinking, but not a world-view.

It does Mainly in natural gas powerplants and processing sites After a quick dig, it looks like this is starting at a power plant with the emissions being pumped into an old Nortth Sea oil field. Further ones to capture from cement works, industry and stick that in an old gas field.

It's worth noting that the docs call out that it's not intended for stream processing over high volume data streams (drasi.io/concepts/so...).

This new Apache 2.0-licensed project from Microsoft (wait wat?!) looks really interesting. It combines CDC with event processing, using Neo4j's Cypher language. In another vindication for open source standards, it supports Debezium's CDC format for output.

Where are you off to in that there London? I was down at Battersea last week and I’m still processing it 😂

The only thing I can forgive about it is that it's caused Exxon to cancel plans to run a CO2 pipeline across the New Forest and Isle of Wight. The rest of it is as horrific as it's just sponsoring oil and gas companies to keep processing oil and gas instead of investing in alternatives
