Friday the 13th reimagined: Jason was a prick but a weakling. He started shit and routinely got his ass kicked until it happened out on the water one day. He falls in, no one knows what happened. They even dredge. Nothing. It was a Fri 13. Five years later, the mean kids come back to open the camp.

I have long thought of Elon as a reimagined Forrest Gump as a total POS instead of the goofball with a heart of gold from the movie, but Iā€™m getting more of a Simple Jack vibe here.

I've always enjoyed reminaging animals from their skeletons, really helped show how ridiculous early dinosaur models were, the hairless, drab, and thin lizards rather than sporting plumage and multicoloured tufts we now see them as having.

Animals reimagined from their skeletons! Guess which one is for which animal! From cmkoseman.com

The ā€œmemeā€ isnā€™t a random thing to be part of this era, itā€™s the type of pre-modern stuff weā€™re seeing reemerge. (Itā€™s oral tradition reimagined. Books are never the only way ideas are transmitted.)

Well that is nonsense. So Virgil's Aeneid and Stephen Fry's Troy series aren't proper literature according to The Atlantic. Not to mention James Joyce Ulysses as a reimagined Homer's Odyssey.

The "clown is putting on his makeup" meme, saying:

We really like working with Ruby on Rails

But it's kinda slow

And we want it to go fast

So we reimagined it in Rust
