I'm open to some McKinley revisionism but this is probably too much.
This historically happened at cons before is the most frustrating part. It's revisionism to say "it's a cosplay prop so it's aye okay!" cause any nerd con back to when I started visiting in 2006 had a "Don't wave guns around at people" rule. Cons hate when cops get called on them over this behavior.
this is historical revisionism -- books like Transsexual Empire came out in the 70s and were the gospels for the height of the radfem movement, and trans women have been writing about radfem being hatespeech masquerading as feminism since it was in its infancy.
This was such an outre thing to say back in the day that people usually kept it on the down low or soft pedaled it. One branch of this “revisionism” involved implying that FDR had advance warning about Pearl Harbor and used it as a pretext to join the fight against fascism.
I haven't posted in some time. I had to travel to take care of some family emergencies. But seeing the reaction to IGN's new content around Alien: Isolation, I can only say. It's tiresome how people are trying to play the revisionism on older games. Yes, Isolation was divisive, no IGN was not alone.

McConnell made a choice that no matter what he wasnt going to convict & nothing else mattered. He could have likely brought along enough senate Rs with him to do so if he wanted to but he didnt. "If it happened a week earlier would McConnell not have been McConnell" is silly revisionism.
