It's in the title. Currently have full time job and grad school. I have realized that outside of schoolwork, my brain needs the equivalent of candy. there's definitely something to be said about figuring out the "right amount of effort" to put into schoolwork. i feel like too many people go overboard

This was me as a very young mum. We didn't buy it for schoolwork though; we bought it to play games on. Games like Jet Set Willy. And my daughter learned to do her first coding on it to write rude notes to her brother on the TV screen. I was already a gamer by then, though so no surprise they are.
