For as impressive for what it is, there is one weakness to the Seestar, like most small scopes - planets. Enough to make Saturn distinguishable by shape, but that's about it.
We're celebrating 100 Hours of Astronomy at the moment (around the world people are invited to look up at the stars) but since it's a bright day we've been sitting out with coffee and the SeeStar showing passers-by how the sun looks today, with quite a few dramatic sunspots. #100Hours#Astronomy

I finally invested in Pixinsight and wow, it’s pretty incredible. Amazing to think this was taken with a $500 smart telescope that some people want to call nothing but a toy. I think it’s super fun to push it to the limits of what it is capable of doing! #astrophotography#seestar
