Yes! Also Rohrer and Klingner is another I like that's cheaper from them, R&K's SketchInk is waterproof and nice with watercolors (I like the muted red Jule)
Rohrer & Klingner have been making ink since 1892, and by hand, too, using well-established recipes. Their sketchINK ® is ideal for artwork as well as normal fountain pen use. It's also waterproof...
If you want waterproof ink I'd look to Platinum Carbon Black, Noodler's Bulletproof inks, De Atramentis Document inks, and Rohrer & Klingner SketchINK
Heute so. Wie schwer sind eigentlich Autos zu malen? Und wann ist Frau nicht mehr Kind? 😂 #dailysketch#drawyourday#skizzenbuch#aquarell#buntstift#lamysafari#kleinekunstklasse#sketchink
To add: SketchINK dries more matte and dilutes well for a wash. Write and Draw has a broader colour range, and dries slightly glossy. I don't like how it dilutes. I wouldn't recommend them if you want full opacity, but I personally enjoy their transparency!
I like Rohrer and Klingner "SketchINK" and Octopus Fluids "Write and Draw"! Waterproof, and good for fountain pens if you want to have a nice ink when on the go, but I like to use a brush at home - dip pens tend to damage my preferred paper, unfortunately.
They are both good waterproof inks for sketching!! I just definitely prefer the SketchINK if I need a diluted underlayer that won't budge.
Today's art experiments have identified the following: when diluting for underlayers I prefer Rohrer and Klingner SketchINK over Octopus Fluids Write and Draw. It's easier to control and get a smooth result. The latter also dries a little more... granular, I guess?
