Funny enough, this was inspired by being tired of so many wishy-washy reviews of headphones while my own taste in headphones is pretty run-of-the-mill. (AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Max I got secondhand for dirt cheap, and SkullCandy Pride Edition for anyone curious.)

yep, I've wound up with "youth" size glasses before but apparently my ears do not match my Skullcandy were bought secondhand and appear to be a 2021 model. maybe the internet is wrong about their mics but (sigh). their website does have a lot of pics of women modeling them

... the microphone is useless. in looking for possible fix, I learned that all Skullcandy mics are awful I have tried on + read many reviews and am convinced I would greatly enjoy Sonos Ace but this? this is acephobia (/sarc but also just wtf nothing is that much better than other options) 3/end

a lovely Bose pair that a friend gave me as a gift so I don’t know the model number, sadly I’ve also had decent luck with Skullcandy but the last time I bought a pair was 10+ years ago so can’t say if they’re still good definitely team small head here though

JLab over SkullCandy. New Airpods have Noise Canceling for an earbud under $200 as well. If you can wait, I believe the XM4's will be at discount on Black Friday.

You could buy the WH-1000XM4s for closer to $200, or I think JLab released some $30 ANC earbuds recently. Theres also Skullcandy but I can’t speak for the quality.

Forgot to share the “new” Skullcandy earbuds I got awhile back since my old ones gave out. Though these were a bit pricy I like the bass boost mode, one touch on/off play mode & single earpiece use. Don’t care for the google fast pair feature.
