I live off a heavily foot trafficed alley path, like at the end of a cul de sac, and I keep pairs of socks in zipper bags in the spare shoes on my stoop. Because if someone's taking my shoes, they'd probably appreciate fresh socks. The last pair of shoes that got left behind in the swap, were soggy.

Yuuuus, those scenes are absolute peak! Esp if there's like, a soggy wadded sock/cloth/whatever in their lap that was previously behind the tape, ready to go back in when talk time/eating time's over
