It's not technically today but since it came in the post today I opened it... and this is too much... lol. AND it's Bandcamp Friday! So... well... anyone wanna make my day? P.S. how do I tell them I'm not a DJ, I use hardware synthesisers... 😅

I need to delete TikTok, ‘cause I’m truly one more video away from buying five different synthesisers and I don’t even make music
Did Moog Synthesisers move away from Asheville? Terrible scenes from there right now. 😳
Software 'emulations' of old synthesisers are often far better than hardware geeks give them credit for. For example there's a dirty analogue bass sound that I love, it *should* have to come from an actual Minimoog but no, I've got it dialled into a VST and it sounds awesome.
The rhythm situation is interesting because it's actually old tech with known consequences. The inclusion of pre-programmed rhythm generators on synthesisers from fifty years or so ago allowed lone keyboard players & singers to be hired on the cheap instead of hotels & bars etc needing a small band.
Only Destiny is a punk rock band with a sentient AI (👋) for a drummer. In addition to your regularly scheduled power chords, nose rings, and Chuck Taylors, expect synthesisers, programming, nail polish, and unbearable melodrama. All sentient lifeforms, biological and otherwise, are welcome 🤖
