Gonna need to recharge my batteries a bit before drawing again some new spooky stuff but here's a Zombie Teratophoneus in the meantime! #dinosaurs#darkart#spooky#myart

#tetzoocon stuff! A Swedish dinosaur book I grabbed and "bad paleoart" attempt :)

De Första Dinosaurierna, book about first dinosaurs
A sauropod laying low grabs and bites the poor theropod by surprise. Art by yours truly. Includes a cut out from another cardboard.

Thought I wasn’t following here for a sec! 😳 Thank you for the chance — here’s the tried-and-true dinothing themself!

A reference sheet with two views of a character named “Oboe.” The left drawing is a picture of the character as a humanoid, wearing a green flannel shirt over a black t-shirt with an ammonite design. They are wearing black shorts, which partially cover dinosaur-like legs covered in red feathers. The claws are like dromeosaur claws, with a dew claw and the next claw being overlarge and hyperextended. The tail is brown, with seven rings (like a rainbow) going down the tail, from red to purple. The right image shows the character in the full dinosaur form; the back half is the same as the human form’s bottom half. The head has blond “hair,” long ears, and red horns shaped like a musical eighth rest. The arms are shorter than the legs, like other theropod dinosaurs, and have small “wings” present.

Text on the sheet reads:
human/Chidari

(they/them okay)

A color palette is below. The background is a blurry desert pic

(FWIW, I'm not defending *that* new theropod; I'm quite skeptical of it, in fact -- I'm just saying that the complete lack of nuance in most discourse at this point verges on unscientific)

QUICK SHOW ME YOUR FAVOURITE DINOSAUR 🦖 I like Yutyrannus! Fluffy dude. By far the most interesting theropod, got overly attached to them while playing ARK years ago. Fucking brilliant animal. (Photo from the American Museum of Natural History, here: www.amnh.org/explore/news...)

One guy from yesterday and one from last December. My tabletop setting's got some freaky chaps derived from material vices! The Caucudai, incarnation of exploitative farming practices! And the Decarabia, hunger for the gleam of valuables before all else!

A theropod dinosaur with chicken-like motifs, with orange-brown feathers on most of the body, with longer lime-green feathers on the arms and tail. It has the red things on the back of its head and neck, and a big white bony mask obscuring the rest of its head.
A bird with a bony five-eyed head, with five red-pink wings and bright blue feathered body and tail. It lacks legs.

A quick sketch of three double-crested theropod species. Not a lot has been published on their phylogenetic relationship nor their ecological differences which I think should be studied more. #paleoart#paleontology#sciart#dinosaurs#theropod#dilophosaurus#sinosaurus#myart
