Lastly, my burning question: is there a significant difference between Pelikan 4001 Turquoise, which I've been using at work for several months, and Waterman Inspired Blue? Turns out...they're pretty fucking identical actually 🤣 Waterman is slightly wetter, Pelikan drier, but that's p much it. 11/

OC-tober Day 2 - Past Who came up with the idea of doing 4 entire scenes for a daily prompt??? (me, it was me) These 4 in their homelands as kids! I made them too cute and now I feel bad for all the shit I put them through I'll share further context in replies! #art #winterblood #oc-tober

In the first, little Kaedo is looking out over the colourful roofs of the Senkrenese city of his birth, towards the sun rising over the frozen wasteland beyond. He is standing on a colourful path of mosaics and holding a large book to his chest.

Next, little Keran is splashing in the turquoise-blue shallows of a cove on the northern coasts of the Alanysi Empire. Orange desert cliffs rise up behind him.

Next, little Hunter is laying out freshly prepared hides in his family's temporary encampment in the frozen tundra of Bröchoa. There are choom tents and other figures visible including a sled and some kind of deer.

Next, little Mara is kneeling with her stepmother, Galena, in the woods outside her home in Dumoros. Galena is teaching Mara about the plants in the area and is quizzing Mara on a type of wild berry. Their small, A-frame shaped house is visible in the distance.

Now for the gray-somethings! I really want a grayish celadon or purple for the season, so I got a bunch (though sadly can't get a sample of Lennon Tool Box Atmospheric Firmanent). 162 is extremely pretty in a larger area but I think it's just too light to write with, unless maybe in a B nib. 6/

Sailor Ink Studio 162, a light grayish blue, edging towards turquoise. Sailor Ink Studio 462, a medium grayish teal. Herbin Vert Empire, a medium to dark green-gray, though the phone is making it look more saturated. Robert Oster Summer Storm, a strange grayish purplish bluish shade. Very ambiguous in its desaturation.
