I like that it feels like the opposite if the dead internet here. Sure, it is quieter, but it is human. Folk less concerned by number of followers and more with quality of interaction. I read that they banned bots from r/wholesomememes and no one posted for two full days.
More than ten years ago I drew Good Enough, which is still one of my favorites. It’s nice to revisit it from a slightly different angle. www.thingswithout.com/comic/good-e...#wholesome#WholesomeMemes#QuotesAboutLife#SelfWorth#Comfort#MentalHealth

To add to the discussion, many posts on big subreddits are done by repost bots now. I just saw something here about r/wholesomememes, which has 17M subscribers. Apparently there was an attempt to clamp down on bots and the sub didn't receive a *single* new organic post since then.
So the subreddit /r/WholesomeMemes decided to crack down on spambots/reposters that serially repost content to farm Reddit Karma (Which is necessary to post in certain subs for astroturfing/advertising purposes). They had no new posts for two days until a moderator posted a call to action.
