Had some fun playing around with Zak McKracken's DOS V2 EGA sprite to give him some of the bling from his FM Towns design. #zakmckracken#lucasarts#lucasfilmgames#adventuregames

An edited version of the starting screen of the DOS V2 EGA version of Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, with some changes to Zak's sprite to make him more in line with his FM Towns design. Zak is still thinner than on FM Towns, but now he's wearing a gold tie clip and a gold belt buckle, plus brown penny loafers and blue socks. His shirt pocket is also more visible.

Also, in DOS V2, when you're outside the Mayan pyramid as Annie, her tiny sprite uses Zak's sprite instead for some reason. This error isn't present in the C64/DOS V1 versions, or in the FM Towns release. #zakmckracken#lucasarts#lucasfilmgames#adventuregames

After some testing, I found this bug is in both the Commodore 64 and DOS V1 versions. But it was fixed in the enhanced DOS V2 & the FM Towns versions (and presumably the Atari & Amiga releases too)! #zakmckracken#lucasarts#adventuregames#lucasfilmgames
