After some testing, I found this bug is in both the Commodore 64 and DOS V1 versions. But it was fixed in the enhanced DOS V2 & the FM Towns versions (and presumably the Atari & Amiga releases too)! #zakmckracken#lucasarts#adventuregames#lucasfilmgames

Also, in DOS V2, when you're outside the Mayan pyramid as Annie, her tiny sprite uses Zak's sprite instead for some reason. This error isn't present in the C64/DOS V1 versions, or in the FM Towns release. #zakmckracken#lucasarts#lucasfilmgames#adventuregames

Screenshots of the DOS V2 version of Zak McKracken, with Annie picking up the crystal shard from Mexico while already having one in her inventory. In the Commodore 64 and DOS V1 releases, this causes a bug where one of the shards disappears, softlocking the game. Later versions fixed this bug. However, the DOS V2 version does have a bug where Annie's tiny sprite outside the pyramid uses Zak's sprite by mistake, an error not present in the C64, DOS V1, or FM Towns versions.
