I think so, which is why I was curious about what other people think. Strictly speaking, it does not seem like RCT implies anything about the conditions. But the important thing is how people perceive it

You do have randomization, but within subjects, and the point is not to measure the treatment effect but use this variation to say something about preferences. E.g., you can vary the lotteries a subject has to choose from, and you can still observe how that affects their choices (treatment effect)
