if you are starting an org or deliberate political effort, you cannot afford to be this distractible. the time-scale at which criticisms can be generated is orders of magnitude shorter than the time scales on which even fair criticisms can be substantively addressed (not to talk of the unfair ones!)
I assume most people know about the heckler's veto. what I worry about these days is closer to a "heckler's agenda" - where the most intransigent criticisms and critics end up deciding where everyone's focus goes (even when they don't decide people's opinions) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler...
