FFWABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Colfax County in northeastern New Mexico... Eastern Mora County in northeastern New Mexico... * Until 1030 PM MDT. * At 631 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over previously saturated soils across the warned area. Between 0.25 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Wagon Mound and Valmora. This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 372 and 410.
