Wow, that is huge! I only went to AGU once, as an early PhD student, and even then the conference was too big and overwhelming for me! I'll stick to 400-500 attendee Australian conferences 😆

Yeah, the size is both an advantage and disadvantage. The meeting can be overwhelming, but it's also true that basically everyone and everything is there.
