A Japanese way of telling someone to get lost is 豆腐の角に頭をぶつけて死ね, which means “go hit your head on a corner of tofu and die” * This isn’t very nice because it’s essentially telling someone they should commit soycide ** apologies if that tofu joke is tasteless

A new record for how many times I can shake my head while reading a post.

"Tofu-no kado-ni atama-o butsukete shine.(豆腐の角に頭をぶつけて死ね)" ...I don't know why tofu is introduced in this expression. It may be the symbol of impossible action or stupid action.

Another brutal Brazilian way to tell someone to get lost is to suggest they go “pick little coconuts” (catar coquinho) or, if you REALLY want them to fuck off, you can tell them to go “pick little coconuts on a slope” (catar coquinho na ladeira)

Shouldn't that be soyacide? Asking for a friend.

In Brazil, we can say "vai chupar um prego até virar parafuso", meaning "go suck a nail 'til it becomes a screw".
