Could you imagine if Blizzard had kept some RTS like mechanics as one of their class options. Like some kind of summoner sort of class that builds little structures for smaller units to charge out from. Or a playable race that has you control multiple characters at once in some manner

Replayed the Original / Brood War campaigns recently because I saw Day9TV doing it. Hell of a good story, all these years later. Engaging, fun missions with the right mix of depth and exploration.

If you're playing SC2, there's a really interesting nodding scene, you should look up the Real Scale mods, they're a blast

I remember clearly being so disappointed that Blizzard pivoted from RTS to MMO with World of Warcraft. Like obviously its probably paid off for them 6,000 times over but man Warcraft 2 and 3 were the bomb
