Baffling. The motivations of such people are beyond me. I could understand if it were a fight over resources. This I do not. Are the dresses traditionally unique to each individual as part of their identity or courtship efforts? They must have a noteworthy value if it’s a killable offense?

That's the strange part! They're not! They are often mass-produced, which is how someone can have an identical dress in the first place! I suppose there's the fact that they're sometimes expensive, and it's common for the events to be proms, which I'll explain in a moment, but it's so senseless!
