One unfortunate and unexpected thing about getting diagnosed with #ADHD was the judgement. The reactions varied from “everyone seems to have it now 🙄” to “don’t use it as an excuse😒”, and none were supportive. What I thought would be a beginning of healing process just added more stress and struggle

Wait until you get the "It ain't real" bullshit. As a middle aged man diagnosed in the 70s, I've heard it all. Don't listen to them, I did and denied it because of other issues. Fuck 'em.
I'm sorry that this is been your experience - you deserve support and to be believed because what we struggle with is so real! All of it! I hate that neurotypical people tend to operate from " I don'texperience it and can't relate, therefore it's not legit". There's lots of us & our struggle is real
