It's so good! It's been a while since I've watched it, because right now I'm thinking "it wasn't that bad" but it undoubtedly was. And that's a funny thing about horror: what really squicks one person might not phase another. The most unpleasant shot in The Substance was Sue's fingernail.

I really want to see The Substance. I loved Revenge and I really want to see her take on body horror. Possessor is provably my most “This isn’t that bad” movie, but that was probably due to watching a lot of early 90s anime OVAs. 😁
