Without calling more attention to it or slow rolling it, it just makes the character seem like a petulant child. The animated series fixes this but still, these movies are shamefully awkward.
Upon rewatch, the Star Wars Episode 1-3 trilogy is actually a solid premise. The story beats are mostly fine. It's the godawful writing that tanks the movies. Like it isn't explained how strong emotions are antithetical to the Jedi way, but Anakin has so many red flags early on.

My big brain idea is for Larian Studios to buy Owlcat Games. Owlcat does some things *very* well that Larian hasn't nailed. And the opposite is true as well. Owlcat games are usually bigger in scope but with a weaker narrative and less polish. Larian EXCELS in narrative and polish.
