Respectfully, it seems like you're conflating "counter" in the sense of fighting the existing members or breaking the existing members out with "counter" innocence of preventing the recruitment of people not already members.

That's not what I am saying. I address this topic further down. Countering disinformation — the product — is low-leverage and bound to fail. Countering disinformation *producers* is higher-leverage. Interdicting their funding, deplatforming them, and doing so constantly, with vigilance.
