by the time the mid-'90s rolled around it was fairly difficult to name a band something that wasn't already taken. it was like the band name dust bowl out there. you have to understand the extreme measures some had to take to survive. you had to become Sexpod.

Sexpod?! I thought they closed that place down.

I can’t imagine trying to name a band today.

This was the era the world finally embraced Butthole Surfers, so you know. Its in-era at least.

I'll never forget seeing my favorite band name ever of a band I never even got to listen to, in a copy of Alternative Press. JFKFC.
