Luke McGee claims today in the i newspaper that many Remainers are completely unrealistic about convincing the British public to rejoin the EU or SM. How about "saving ÂŁ40BN per annum and being able to pay less tax? Ability to work & live in 31 countries?"

Esther McVey. A liar and a fool. Her post is nonsense. She doesn’t care. She doesn’t check. She doesn’t think. She never apologises. She just stirs the shit and never takes any responsibility for her own failures. Very sick of nasty Tory MPs like this honking out garbage.

Screenshot of McVey’s post that says:

How embarrassing for Starmer that he drops the Rwanda policy & Germany look to take it in as they know it is the only effective solution to illegal immigration.

Germany must be laughing at Starmer as they benefit from a scheme he had left in his lap.

All thanks to Johnson and Frost not agreeing to a reciprocal agreement for artists proposed by the EU within the TCA...

In the post imperial age, the UK's trump card was its cultural and creative exports, soft power through music, dance, art, literature and theatre. Not happy with simply destroying our economy, Brexit is killing our soft power too.

Can’t decide who’s worse. Jenrick or Badenoch? Both are supremely terrible. But this sums it up really.. None of them thinks or cares enough to work out why they lost. None of them wants to do right by the country. Grubby opportunists sniffing out power for themselves. inews.co.uk/opinion/robe...

None of the candidates have even begun to engage with why they lost. None of them have shown any genuine interest in what happened in July or how one might credibly start to put together an election winning party again. None have the bravery to tell the ideologues in the Conservative Party- both in and out of parliament- the obvious truths they need to hear. This whole process is a circus of vacuity, a semi-permanent festival of intellectual obsolescence.

Badenoch “I believe in truth. Truth is not relative” Ok, Kemi. Tell the truth about austerity, Johnson, Brexit, VIP lanes, Truss, Rwanda, immigration, trade deals, public services, social care, child poverty, food banks, tax, the state of the economy… The whole truth. Go on…

Amazingly enough, a sensible article on UK-EU relations that envisages how a negotiation might unfold on youth mobility without getting bogged down in the arguments of 5 years ago. www.bloomberg.com/opinion/arti...

Keir Starmer should seize the opportunity of a youth mobility program with the EU.
